Welcome, Spring!

... and goodbye, Merlin. My mom's dear, sweet black cat passed away and is now in kitty heaven. He was truly one of the sweetest, most loving cats we've ever had. Now he's an angel!

Spring is finally here - yay!!! It's about time. Heh - that's funny. It IS "about" time. It's all "about" time - our time here on earth, what we do with our time. Reminds me of my favorite quote from Annie Dillard:

How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.

Well, I guess that means I'm spending my life practicing yoga, teaching yoga, looking for freelance work, doing freelance work, writing, editing, and avoiding all of the above by posting to my blog. I'm so happy it's springtime! There's much to be joyful about. Buds are blooming, birds are singing, baby animals are being born... What better way to procrastinate today than by singing the praises of spring! It's sunny and bluebird here in SF today ~ couldn't have asked for a better day to start the new season right.
